We went to Versailles for the 30th time and they had made a new expo in the beginning of the visit. I love the walls with the engraved pattern!

Laduree

My man was away a lot last week because it's been the Auto show here in Paris. One thing that compensated this was when he came home with a box of Laduree macarons! I love them!!!

Friday night

I went to Paris friday night thinking that I would meet a friend for dinner. When I came to Opera where we had decided to meet, there were 4 friends waiting for me with posters. It was my bachelorette party:) It was very calm but nice and my friend gave me some nice make up and the man at the Indian restaurant where we ate gave me a jewelry box for my future husband to fill with jewelry:)

Swedish happiness

I found a bag of "bilar" (cars) in our sweet cupboard the other day, what happiness! I almost ate all of course, but I am telling myself it's ok since me and Viggo are out walking every day in our hilly village.

Spring is in the air!

I try to go for a walk with Viggo everyday cause he loves it and it permits us to get out of the house and get some fresh air. Yesterday was a beautiful day and you could really smell spring in the air.

Norway in my heart

I could show you all the progress we've done on the house this weekend and tell you about the flood in our bathroom and all the other problems we keep on discovering.

But I won't. This will have to wait until another day and let's instead think about our Norwegian neighbours. That something like this could happen in a serene and peaceful country like Norway is unthinkable.

We do have to think that the world stays a good place and that these catastrophies don't make us doubt about that there is not only evil out there!

Norway, we are thinking about you!

Cherries

You know you live in a nice village when the lady that lives two houses down see you work in the garden and bring you cherries so that you can take a break even though we have never met before... I love this place!!!

Finally...

I am really sorry for the lack of posts recently! We moved a week ago and internet didn't work in our new house until yesterday so it has been beyond my control... But now everything is more or less back to normal so bloging will be done on a regular basis again!

More spring feelings...

It is beautiful outside today and I just had to go for a long walk in the sun. It was really nice, I was even too warm in my light winter jacket!
When I came home I realised that one of my birthday flowers have really started to bloom. It's a lily that a good friend of mine gave to me. Isn't it beautiful!?

Spring garden

The sun is here and I can't wait until I will have my own garden that I can go out and work in! Until then I will have to be happy dreaming and get inspired from other people's green harvest's.

Spring inside

The sun is shining outside and as long as you stay inside to not feel the cold wind, it's as if spring has come. Especially when you have taken it with you inside in form of beautiful, flowering branches!

Spring is in the air.

I am sorry for my absence the last two days but my fiancee took two days of and yesterday it was my 30th birthday so I decided to take a break from everything.
I was woken up by these beautiful flowers given to me by my wonderful fiancee. They give you spring feelings instantly and when I looked out the window it was exactly like that, full sunshine!
