Creative napkins

Everything on a wedding table is important to get the harmony and ambiance that you wish. The napkins are one of the details that need to be well thought out with the rest of the table set.

Back to nature

I have seen a global trend recently where people have a tendency to go back to our roots and use nature as a major inspiration. This is also applied to wedding cakes. Here are 4 examples that really show the trend and I have to say that I love it!

Creative menu design

I wrote about wedding menus a while ago and since then I have found new ones that are absolutely worth showing. I am surprised every day of how creative people are and the ideas that they come up with.

Love is in the air

I have seen a balloon trend recently in wedding decorations. It is a good idea that doesn'r explode your budget but makes a big difference. If you don't want balloons, you could hang up home made garlands that give you the same effect.

Dreams of pure

I am back after a great holiday in Poland with a lot of food, visits and really nice family! I hope that you had a nice christmas and that you will have a wonderful 2010 with lots of love and success.
To start the year I wanted to share some really nice wedding dresses with very pure and clean cuts.

mini cakes

A good alternative to a wedding cake are cupcakes. You can vary them, make different colors or decorations and even have different tastes.

Dream of being a princess.

Haven't we all dreamt of looking like a princess at our wedding when we were younger!? I am not a big fan of princess dresses anymore but I have managed to find a few that are closer to my style and that I find are not too much looking like a huge cupcake.

Good ideas that make your wedding a memorable day.

There are little things you can do to give your wedding the little extra that makes it a memorable day! Here are a few ideas that are easy to do but that makes quite a difference.

Make a modern wall decoration.

Make your guests write a word in an original way that you can keep forever.

Give your guests a bag of bird seeds to toss at you after the ceremony. This will make it a great moment
and the birds will be happy.

Give your guests homemade personal gifts.

Help your guests to last on the dance floor and make a fun thank you card.

Set up a photo both where your guests can take memorable photos.

Put a disposable camera on every table for fun and unexpected wedding photos.

A fun way to let your guests write a few words.

Head pieces from Twigs and Honey.

If you don't feel like having a long veil on your big day I really recommend to take a look at TWIGS & HONEY'S head pieces. They are very stylish and pretty!

Flowers on your table.

The center piece on your wedding table is something that follows the colors and design of your overall theme.
There are many ways to combine flowers with other materials. Here are some examples to get inspired from.

Where to sit.

When you have a big wedding, placement cards are essential. For your guests to find their table it is good to have some kind of a creative "map" when you enter the room.

Love goes through food.

Back in the day women always said that love evolves with your cooking and maybe there is somethinh true in that. At a wedding food is very important though and the menu is supposed to give you an idea of what is waiting.

Dreams of lace

A wedding is something very romantic of course and if you want to look like a real princess a dress made of lace could be something for you. And, no, you don't have to look like a puffy cake to appear romantic and princess like.

Neighbour inspiration

I have the privilige to live just next to the Versailles palace and since we moved here almost four years ago I have taken a great interest in the history of Marie Antoinette. If I could choose, me and my fiancee would get married in Versailles like Marie Antoinette (the wedding would be a bit happier though...) but for little reasons like finances I am not sure that it will ever happen. This doesn't mean that I can't be Marie Antoinette for a day. If you try to represent it with colors, style and patterns anyone can be The Queen on your wedding day.

Invitation's gift

When you get married it's not only the bride and groom that receive gifts. The wedding couple also give their guests a little something. You can wrap this gift in many different ways, it has something to do with the theme in general. Here are a few ideas what you can do to make your guest's happy.

Flowers in all it's colors.

The flowers are very important for a wedding, especially the bride's bouquet. Here is some inspiration of different flowers and color combinations.

Patricia's cakes

If you would like a real beautiful American style cake for your wedding I just have to recommend my friend PATRICIA'S CAKES to you. Her cakes don't only look good, they also taste like heaven! She is going to get married herself in November. I can't wait to see what her wedding cake will look like.

Wedding rings

Wedding rings are always hard to find especially if you want something minimalist yet original (which is my case). Here are a few rings to get inspired from though that I find timeless and very beautiful.
